rAndom International Spring
At the end of February, rAndom are off to the US for a residency with Wayne McGregor's rAndom Dance at EMPAC. They will be working on the scenography of the new production of Random Danceand are going to give a talk at EMPAC on February 25. On March 18 and back in London, rAndom will be hosting an evening at the BARBICAN to celebrate Ron Arad's retrospective here in London. On the last weekend in March, the students of Platform 8 at the Royal College of Arts' Design Products course will be performing their works courtesy of Gallery Volker Diehl in Berlin, Germany. rAndom is running the platform for this term together with artist Gabriel Klasmer

You Fade To Light will be shown at the 'Die Neue Sammlung' at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich from today until February 7, 2010.

Pavilion of Art & Design 2009 news
rAndom International's "A Study For A Mirror" has been awarded 'best piece in show' by an international judging panel during this year's Pavilion for Art & Design in Berkeley Square, London. The Wall Street Journal writes:"Christopher Wilk of the V&A got to choose the shortlist, after which 23 panelists, including Jasper Conran, the fashion designer; Tom Dixon, the designer; Julien Treger, a well-known collector; and the honorary chairwoman, architect Zaha Hadid, decided the winner."
"A Study For A Mirror" will be part of the forthcoming Decode Exhibition at the Vicotria & Albert Museum in December 2009.
